The Belgian is currently married to Rachel Smith. The couple tied the know back in 2017. He lost his European Tour card in 2001 after finishing 172nd on the Order of Merit.
He competed on the Challenge Tour for the 2002 season, winning 10 of his 14 games to reclaim his 2003 playing privileges. The following four seasons saw the Belgian continue to compete on the European Tour.

His best performance came in third place at the BMW Italian Open in 2010, and he kept his tour card for 2011.
